Emanna: The Way to Defeat Satan

As I have been going outstation, I have been enjoying the Emanna readings that I am catching up on. To give some context of the readings, I have included some verses that relate to the way to defeat Satan, followed by a personally transcribed passage of my enjoyment from the readings:

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in Our image,
according to Our likeness…
2:9 And out of the ground made Jehovah God caused to grow
every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food,
as well as the tree of life in the middle of the garden…
3:1 Now the serpent was more crafty than every other animal
of the field…And he said to the woman…

Matthew 1:20 …do not be afraid to take Mary your wife, for
that which has been begotten in her is of the Holy Spirit.
Luke 3:21 …and as Jesus was baptized and was praying,
heaven was opened, (22) And the Holy Spirit descended in
bodily form as a dove upon Him….

John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the
authority to become children of God, to those who believe
into His name.
2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all with unveiled face, beholding and
reflecting like a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being
transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as
from the Lord Spirit.

Man (as represented by Adam) originally was created in the image of God, but didn’t have the life of God within Him. Hence, man was merely a God-created man, not a God-man! Because of this, when Satan as the serpent came in to tempt man, man could not resist because he did not possess the very life of God in him, which would have been able to withstand the temptations of the enemy!
The Lord Jesus was the first true God-man – essentially filled with the divine life of God from his birth (being conceived of the Holy Spirit) and economically clothed with God at His baptism. What is most impressive is that while Satan approached Adam to attack him, the Lord Jesus had the boldness to go and attack Satan in the wilderness! Being filled with the Spirit and clothed by the Spirit enabled Him to fight against the enemy, and even win as He overcame all the three temptations that Satan questions Him about (turning stone into bread; angels to to save the Lord Jesus as He falls from a clift; granting Him rulership over the whole earth). Hallelujah! 😀
