Emanna: Making Confession to God

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bible Verses ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1 John 1:8 If we say that we do not have sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
(9) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words of Ministry ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If we are willing to be enlightened by the Lord, He will show us many unrighteous things. Once we see that we are wrong, we should not be afraid of confessing our wrong. When we first become a Christian, it is inevitable that we will make mistakes. The worst thing is being ignorant of our mistakes or refusing to admit our mistakes once we know them. Being ignorant of our mistakes is being in darkness. Sins can be forgiven, but darkness cannot be forgiven. If we confess our sins, the Lord will forgive us. But darkness makes us ignorant of our sins; therefore, we cannot enjoy forgiveness.
If we confess our sins, He, according to His word and based on the redemption through the blood of Jesus, forgives us because He must be faithful in His word and righteous in the blood of Jesus; otherwise, He would be unfaithful and unrighteous. Our confession is needed for His forgiveness. Such forgiveness of God, which is for the restoration of our fellowship with Him, is conditional; it depends on our confession. Both God’s forgiveness and God’s cleansing are needed for the restoration of our broken fellowship with God, that we may enjoy Him in uninterrupted fellowship with a good conscience, a conscience void of offense.

Emanna: Resurrection – Leader & Savior

Just a passage of Emanna I read which enlightened me : )

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bible Verses ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Acts 5:30  The God of our fathers has raised Jesus, whom you
slew by hanging Him on a tree.  31  This One God has exalted
to His right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to
Israel and forgiveness of sins.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words of Ministry ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

God exalted the Man Jesus, rejected and killed by the Jewish
leaders, as the highest leader, the Prince, the Ruler of the
kings to rule over the world (Rev. 1:5; 19:16), and the Savior
to save God’s chosen people. “Leader” is related to His
authority, and “Savior” to His salvation. Because He has been
exalted by God, Christ rules sovereignly over the earth with
His authority so that the environment may be fit for God’s
chosen people to receive His salvation (Acts 17:26-27; John
17:2). “To give repentance…and forgiveness of sins” to God’s
chosen people requires Christ to be exalted as a ruling Leader
and Savior. His sovereign ruling causes and leads God’s chosen
people to repent, and His salvation based upon His redemption
affords them forgiveness of sins.

Napoleon considered himself to be the leader of Europe.
Eventually, however, he was exiled, and he acknowledged that
Jesus was above him and belonged to a different class. He
admitted that he founded his empire upon force as a mere man
but that Jesus founded His empire upon love and was more than
a man. Even Napoleon said that he was convinced of the
divinity of Jesus Christ. The real Leader and Ruler of Europe
and of the entire world is Jesus.

The entire earth today uses the same calendar. According to
history, the one whose calendar you use is the one to whom you
are in subjection. If any used the calendar of a certain king,
he would have to be under the rule of that king. Today all the
peoples on the entire earth are under Jesus Christ because
they use His calendar. When you use one’s calendar, you admit
you belong to that one. Now we are in the year 1993, but the
globe has not existed for only 1993 years. It has existed for
only 1993 years in the status of Jesus. Jesus’ birth has
become the landmark of the calendar of all the peoples on
earth. He is the Ruler of the kings of the earth to rule over
the entire earth. Revelation 19:16 says that Christ is the
King of kings and the Lord of lords.
